Managing the Proposal Contacts

Modified on Thu, 7 Nov at 12:01 PM

Proposal Contacts can only be assigned before the proposal submission(s) by following these steps:

1. Continue Submission

When solicitations are accepting proposals on the Dashboard, users can "Start Submission" or "Continue Submission" to complete a proposal in multiple sittings or review it before submission.

2. Assign the Proposal Contacts

The Contract Manager and Program Manager assignment occurs in the Proposal Contacts section of each proposal submission (see Figure 1)

Select self or another registered user from the company (see Figure 2)

  • Positions cannot be assigned to users who have not registered.
  • All users should register themselves (see Registering for Symphony).
  • Proposal Contacts cannot be changed after submission and the solicitation deadline.

Symphony allows self-assignment or selection of another registered user

Figure 2. The Proposal Contacts screen allows self-assignment or selection of another registered user for the COCM or COPM role (also known as CACM or CAPM)

Note: These roles can also be assigned in Administration but are separate from the proposal (see Using Symphony's Administrative Features).

Important

Notify the program office if changes occur during the evaluation period.

POCs can be changed if and when a contract is managed in Symphony.

(See Contract Holder Tasks & Performance).
