Follow these steps to troubleshoot an Authentication Failed message encountered in Symphony.
The message occurs if an email address and password don't match a registered account.
1. Click Forgot PasswordIf Authentication Failed appears during sign-in:
Note: Pay attention to the logo or website address and ensure there are no errors in the email address and password. If the message changes, see the Inactive Account Process for details on account activation. 2. Enter the Email Address
Symphony sends a temporary password and reset link to the email address entered if an account exists (see Figure 2).

3. Use the Reset Password link
Follow the email's instructions if Symphony finds the account.
4. Change the PasswordPasswords must meet the following criteria:
