Understanding the Solicitations Tab

Modified on Thu, 7 Nov at 12:28 PM

Follow these instructions when working with the Solicitations tab in Symphony. (An instructional video on this topic is also available at the bottom of the page).

1. View the Solicitation Details

When logging in to the Symphony system, the Dashboard will display a user-specific dashboard for the available solicitations. The Solicitation details will include the Q&A deadline and the Solicitation Deadline (see Figure 1)

2. Ask Questions

During the Ask Questions period, users can ask questions, view responses, and go to the SAM.gov link when the Program Office enables the feature in Symphony (see Inquiry Management).

3. Start in My Company

My Company is where users build their company asset library before assembling a proposal (see Managing References in My Company)

  • The company asset library includes Team Members, MRCLs, Projects/Past Performance, Business Factors, and Cost/Price (see Figure 2)
  • The company asset library is reusable across all proposal submissions.

4. Build a Proposal

When the Solicitation is open to submissions, users can start, continue, or view proposal(s) (see Figure 3)

5. Submit a Proposal

The Program Office will only receive the proposals that authorized users submit

  • Once submitted, Symphony will display the submission date and time, with the option to view the details, and print a copy for confirmation.
  • All proposal assets are saved at submission.
